Mikko Pikkujämsä is one of the most renowned VAT experts in Finland. Among other things, he has represented a client in the Court of Justice of the European Union in a case concerning the right to deduct real estate investments. This later led to a major reform of the Value-Added Tax Act in Finland.
Mikko Pikkujämsä has special competence in real estate law, tax law and corporate restructuring. He has acted as a legal advisor or tax advisor in several real estate development projects in Oulu, Rovaniemi, Levi and Ruka, for example.
Mikko Pikkujämsä also has broad, comprehensive experience about traditional advocacy. He has resolved liability issues connected with company law, successfully defended clients against tax authorities’ claims for compensation and acted as an arbitrator appointed by the Central Chamber of Commerce in an international business dispute. He annually chairs several shareholders’ meetings.
Mikko Pikkujämsä has been employed at PPV Lex ever since its foundation (2004). He has experience about advocacy assignments since 1992. He was employed at the University of Lapland in 1999-2001, and acted as a legal and tax expert in an international auditing group just before the foundation of PPV Lex. Mikko Pikkujämsä is member of the delegation of the Finnish Bar Association.

Anssi Puutio is known for his broad competence in legal issues connected with small and medium-sized companies. His clientele includes many specialist companies engaged in the IT and technology business.
Anssi Puutio completed the IPR expert qualification programme in 2002-2003. Among other things, he has assisted technology companies in protecting technology, financing and making commercial decisions.
Anssi Puutio acts as a management advisor for many owner-led companies and also sits in the boards of some companies. He also has solid expertise in contract law, business law and the settlement of disputes.
Mr. Puutio has been employed at PPV Lex ever since its foundation (2004). He acted as a attorney in NBF Oy, a Vaasa-based law firm, in 1994-2002. Anssi Puutio moved to Oulu in 2002-2003, where he acted as an expert, IPR specialist and head of a centre of expertise in KLegal Oy (KPMG’s law company).
